Why dont our windows serials work for the mac application? For the price I paid for the professional version, we should be allowed to use it on pc or mac.

Exactly: you are allowed to use it on a pc or on a mac, and not simultaneously. If you wish we can swap your Windows license for a Mac one free of charge.
