Question #1.....Can I submit works to the FF gallery with my signature on them.....as a preventative measure to people "hijacking" the images and trying to resell them???

Question #2.....Can I also add to the description that high-res prints of the works are for sale by contacting me directly.....including buying image copyrights.....and that I offer other digital fine artworks along with custom creation.....like a "plug" to sell my artworks and art services???

Vlad, I think what I'm asking in Q2 would be "the" draw for alot of new and veteran authors to create alot of new "very useful" texture filters for the library, sell texture packs with copyrights from them (justifying the proposed EULA restriction on reselling straight texture filter results), and sell their FF-involved artwork under my "FF storefront" suggestion, eh???

I think both are fine, but please no overkill with the signature and ads. When submitting, chose not to add the copyright notice, as your image will already include one.

Okay.....promise no overkill.....thanx for responding..... smile:)

Oh, one other question.....can I post works that were created with personal filters that are not in the library.....or do you just want works that are created with filters that are in the library (which I can understand since you don't want to draw customers in to find that they don't have access to the filters that created the works)???

StevieJ: sure you can submit such works – in this case you just leave the 'Used filters' field empty. You can mention the details in the description.

Oh, excellent!!! I guess it still works as a promo to show viewers the ability of what filter effects/textures can be created with the program even if not in the library.....

Thanks for responding!!! smile:)

I've been wondering about that.
Maybe I'll get some of my work up soon.

Do the images submitted in the gallery have to be horizontal? I'm asking because I just tried uploading one (499X750, 312kb) and I don't think it uploaded right. I thought it might be because it's vertical, but not too sure because there are a couple of vertical images in the gallery... Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Lucie the size is

JPEG only.
Width: 990 pixels.
Height: 470 to 750 pixels.
Maximum size: 700 KB.
Width and height must be the same as those of the "Before" image (if it's uploaded).

so yours should have worked, it might be the site as no downloads are registering at the moment smile:)

Nope, I tried again this morning and once more this evening and it still won't work. I must be doing something wrong but for the love of me I can't figure out at all what it is.

there is also an overall file size limit. perhaps your files are too large?
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

It's only 312kb, if I'm not mistaken the file size limit is 700kb, the 3 images together (the image itself, the before image and the thumbnail) don't even add up to 700kb, they add up to 551kb. The before and the after image are both 499X750 while the thumbnail is 106X160.
