Hi everyone,

I've downloaded a tile from filter forge and have opened it up in Photoshop. I select all and then choose define pattern, then I create a new layer and choose fill and fill with the custom pattern I just made. The result though isn't a tiled pattern, ie. you can see the seams in the image.

I thought that all the images on filter forge were all seamless tiles. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Appreciate any hlep.

Check the "Seamless Tiling" box before rendering. It's just under the "Variation" slider.

Also, some filters do break the seamless tiling, you might be using one of them.

.....which is why I think FF should drop the "all seamlessly tilable" mantra.....as well as the "auto-tile" upon submission of filters to the library.....more misleading, limitting, and a pain in the butt than useful, IMHO......
