I'm using it to make filters, and hopefully earn a free copy soon. Maybe after that I'll chill out and do some artsy fartsy stuffs with the filters.

As I am currently officially "in-between projects", I am using FF merely for fun, relaxation and exploration. It is so powerful and versatile that I can see using it for many many things. Most likely, I will be doing lots of texturing for 3D in FF, and some artsy/graphical stuff for a 2D animation project I am cooking up.
Now if it only had animation! I would love to use it for effects work as well. --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

Im currently using mine to build user friendly texture generators for my game designs, much like angelboiii just without the same skill level @__@. As a side note: I have been trying to spread the word with my classmates too, hopefully well see many more new faces appear here
But generally i just use it to take a break from homework and make a cool looking filter to share with the community. ![]() |

I just started about a week ago, investigating how we might use it to make textures for our real-time 3D scenes. We're making games, simulations, tech demos, etc. Here's an example, where I used the Ocean Foam filter for crashing waves that animate in-game.

I'm working as a texture artist for the next version of an online multiplayer game. I saw the automatic diffuse and normal mapping features of this and was instantly hooked. I just wish specularity maps were created more often.
