Hello,
Great demo, enjoying it immensely. I'm thinking the 20% is a good time to buy...but, my "creative" computer is offline. Is it possible to transfer filters from my online computer to my offline computer?
Need to know...
Thanks

I think you would need to purchase a second copy on disc to do that (one copy online install per IP address).....otherwise, I would suggest putting your creative computer online for the install or request a transfer of your program to it...... Steve

Couldn't I just buy one copy on disc and install it on the offline computer, and then copy the filter files from the demo (which is on the "work" computer")& copy to the other?

Cool. I just wanted to make sure I didn't need to purchase two copies. I assume I can DL all the filters I nabbed using the demo and install on the offline machine?

I'm confused.....wouldn't you still need two copies.....one the online machine to download the filters.....and another on the offline machine to transfer them to??? Steve

As I understand it, and PLEASE someone correct me before I purchase if I'm wrong, I can DL all the filters on one machine using the demo, install via cd on another machine, and then transfer filters over using a flash drive. I'm not particularly technical so I hope this works...I'll wait for a little more feedback b4 I buy.

Ah, I think you can do that......I didn't realize that you were going to keep the demo going to get the filters.....thus you would have the two copies to do it. The downside is that you would no longer have access to new filters once your demo runs out.....unless you put your "creative" machine online..... Steve

True. I guess I could try re-installing the demo every time I reformat!

I don't think you can reinstall the demo after 30 day from the initial download date or people would just keep downloading the demo and never need to purchase

This works for Me in same situation....
On computer you use for the net...copy your..documents..application data...Filter Forge folder to flash drive.
Replace the same folder on workstation with this folder and all filters are there.
