I was looking around at various beloved members in our FF community, and all of you I've seen so far have made filters! I, so far, have not. Is there anyone else sans "Filters:" under their forum name here?

Well, me
![]() I haven't submitted a single filter since we released Filter Forge. I have some interesting experiments and many of them can be readied for publication in a short time, but formally I still belong to your club ![]() |

Not really true, Mr Golovin
![]() Thanks to your filters, we can benefit from a demonstration of the power of FF. Without them there would not be half as much FF fans out there ![]() Torley, I love your art filters ![]() ![]() |

I'm also sans filters.
I just bought my copy of FF figuring (demo extension or not) I'd never create anything to compare with the best of what's currently available. Intimidated into inaction! This is not to say that I'm not having a ball playing around with the editor and maybe someday I'll hit something judged worth sharing. |

----Uhh, I just high-lighted it and clicked on *Quote*, sorry if you changed it afterwards, no harm meant, I just replied to what was there.

@Vladimir: Fair enough, although I still consider you such a great artist because you created 42 (and that is a goodly amount!) filters, many of which I use regularly. Maybe soon you will make even more, and WOW us all. So as much as I'd like to exclude your illustrious and inspirational history, I can't.
@PogS: Thanks, you mean the way I use filters on my art? ![]() @StevieJ: Awwww thanx! I figure "someday" I'd like to, when I can sit down and really focus on crafting some which I'm compelled to share. The time may be inevitable... not yet, but I know I can count on the energy and encouragement of this FF community! @cpc: Ohhhh! Pleased to meet you. That's a curious way to say it, "intimidated into inaction"... hopefully as time goes on, you'll find yourself inspired to go out on the limb. I haven't even gotten into tweaking nodes yet! @CFandM: Oh I don't think I've seen gunsan's posts yet... haha... we are kinda like stragglers... yet not just spectators, because we participate in using Filter Forge. I suppose there'll be more users who don't create filters posting here too, because of the new pricing tiers (which are quite welcome). Fiddling 'round with presets is enough for me at present. I have made a few but not really much recently, i have used FF quite alot in my designs for my apparel store etc though so it's been getting use every now and then
![]() I know i will use it alot more when certain things are added though, mainly because i don't do much 3d work these days so i don't need textures so much anymore, basically what im waiting for is support for multiple images/layers, the toolbox/grouping and storage and various other basic things because when they are added i know it will be alot more usefull for what i do graphics wise. Making textures is fun though but im basically hoping it can become a more designer based app, i will most likely use it every day then, although i do have a plan in the back of my mind to make a texture website. But for me FF is a very useful tool already but i know with a few extra things it will be amazing. |
