ok, I've forgotten, what components, when used, prevent seamless tiling from working?

I think the Transform components are usually the culprits in preventing tiling. You can see why, the symmetry of the box fr om (0,0) to (1,1) is compromised by offsetting or scaling etc etc. Also the Pattern components that allow you to center the "pattern" anywhere in the grid prevent tiling.

The exception to this is with a Bomber/Bomber+ loop, wh ere Transform components work (at least it did in my last filter Sugar Sprinkles), I guess due to the Bomber/Bomber+ maintaining the symmetry within the grid... blah, blah, blah...

Seamless tiling issues arise from shadows, gradients, noise, edge-sensitive filters, textured brushes, and unaligned transformations, as they disrupt edge continuity, creating visible seams between tiles.
