Here is shown how to upload an image to the FF forum

I have seen that there may be someones that are new or does not know yet how to upload images to forum

PREPARE THE IMAGE TO BE UPLOADED

First before uploading the image, you need to know if is compatible with the forum, I mean that FF forum does not allow to upload files that are higher of 1000 Kb and that as far as I know is only allowed the jpg and png extensions

There seems to be no limit in the pixels size of the image if it is under 1000 Kb.

I have tried just now and I have uploaded a 1980 x 1280 jpg that has 260kb and it works and is showing right

So then the most important is the size of the file and not the pixels size, so if you are trying to upload a PNG it usually has a much higher file size than JPG, so then is much more recommended to use jpg

NOW UPLOAD THE IMAGE TO THE FORUM

There are two ways to do it

1 - Click on the "Choose File" button below the text box and sel ect the image you want and have already prepared

2 - Drag and drop the image fr om where it is to the "Choose File” button and it will copied here

and then when you click on the button to post it, is uploaded tha image and shown in the post as a thumbnail.

if it is over the allowed size it will show a red message to tell what is the maximun allowed size

I have uploaded images in the past OK. Today, after a long time not doing so, I find I cannot load an image - not an error message, just nothing happens.
I browse to a jpeg on my desktop (PC) and the name appears under the text box - the preview only shows the text and not a thumbnail.
The image is 240Kb and 500x500.
Any help would be appreciated - it is probaby just that I am old and forgetful !
