Here is a little "puzzle" for you smile:)

Explain what is going on here (I have NOT tampered with the screenshot, nor am I exploiting a bug):

No one?

Well, here is a hint: the opacity of the blend is at 0%, meaning it only shows background - yet the output contain a channel from the lifesaver.. how come?

All I could say was "?!" I really don't know what's happening. But whatever it is, its probably going to blow my mind. Will try answering with buddies on this.

Ok, got Indigos solution. Very creative but not correct. Since others might go in the same direction, I might as well just post his solution here:

Quote
1. Set up everything (the top script should output the red channel for all 3 colors and be plugged into the background of the blend, the bottom script should just output black into the foreground of the blend, the curve script does nothing, blend opacity is 0)
2. Screw up the black script so it has an error (***but the blend preview doesn't change!!!)
3. Switch the bottom script to the background and vice versa for the top script
4. Edit the top script to add the color back to it

I should add that the correct solution IS working 100% and requires no dirty tricks like above (yes, Indigo perhaps something neat is going to show up after all smile:-p)

hah, thats great Inujima! Not correct though.. I only have the 5 visible components in use all in all.

Alright, here is a hint then: Take a look at the script curve parameters (in particular 't')..
