I am trying to run Filter Forge in Fedora Linux. I found this code to customize protocols:

Code
#!/usr/bin/zsh

if [[ "$1" == "filterforge:"* ]]; then
    ref=${1#filterforge://}
    xdg-open "/home/whitequill/.local/share/bottles/bottles/Filter-Forge-8/dosdevices/c:/Program Files/Filter Forge 8/Bin/Filter Forge.exe"
else
    xdg-open "$1" # Just open with the default handler
fi

Code
./Documents/ffxml-open.sh filterforge://open-14871

Filter Forge does open just fine but the filter does not load.
I understand that you don't generally support Linux but, I was wondering if there is any information about this?

Several years ago a user reported that FF worked fine under Linux:

This is pretty much all information we have about running in Linux.
