I want to rotate an image (angle control and Rotate) apply some changes to it, then rotate it "back" its original orientation. Is there a simple or efficient way to do this?

Using two rotations you can rotate the image apply the effect then rotate it back....When using this method if you rotate the original image by 25 degrees then on the second one rotate -25 degree it will be back to the original position.

Thanks for the quick reply. smile:)
I should have clarified that I meant having the "rotate" and the "unrotate" influenced by the same slider- So setting it to 25 would rotate it 25 degrees and, further down the line, cause a separate rotation node to rotate everything "back" by -25 degrees.

I was able to hack together a version that got the numbers I needed using color values. Seems to work, but my solutions are sometimes more convoluted than they need to be.

I don't know what version of FF you are using but here is a filter for FF11....It rotates the image and applies the effect but leaves the final image at the original orientation.

Actually use a slider instead of a value control on that Assemble RGB. After 1 on that value control that fully rotates the last rotate but
the slider does not.

Yup, that works. The most efficient way is to remap the first rotate to 0-1 range and the second one to 1-0.
