Hello!
I've been looking for a good way to animate filters by doing batch rendering of a single preset with parameter modulation and despite scouring this forum for years back and trying every piece of external software listed in the wiki it seems like there isn't anything still available for Windows that has the functionality of FFBatchMaster for Mac. The closest I've got is to use FFEasyMorph and FFEasyRender together, but that's not really what they were designed for and only lets me render batches of 20 frames max, which is far less than I would like. I've looked into using the command prompt batch render functionality built into filterforge a little bit but that's pretty above my head at this point. If anyone knows of any solutions that I've missed so far I would really appreciate hearing about them! |

FFEasyRender 3.0 beta has the options "Main Preset Selection - All" and "Main Preset Selection - All except last". With these options you can render countless frames. FFEasyMorph can morph (interpolate) parameters between 2 presets of a Filter Forge Filter and create a new (custom) Filter that has a preset for each “morph step” (frame for animation). It tries to morph not only the settings sliders but other parameters as well. So I think all the ingredients are there, what are you missing? https://www.ipadtouches.com/ffeasyrend...ter-forge/ Password for FFEasyRender 3.0 Beta 1: Betatest01 |

Ah yes okay I guess I wasn't using the 3.0 beta and didn't realize it had that option, this does exactly what I wanted! It's a bit of a strange workaround to have to make a new filter with hundreds of presets so that a different piece of software can render each individual preset but it definitely works and I'll take what I can get! Thanks so much for developing these tools, and I really appreciate you taking the time to explain them to me.
Here's a little animation I did to test it out: https://imgur.com/a/3sILTFg thanks again! |
