I got the link fr om FF to download all filters, and followed their instructions, which included locating the Filter Forge Library in Application support .... but no such folder there. Also looked in Libraries, but nothing for FF, so wh ere is the library folder? I pasted the downloaded "system" folder into the general app folder for FF but none of the filters show up in the filter menu ... I'm running Catalina on a new MacBook Pro ...
cheers j.

Hope this helps

UPDATE: I was half asleep when I posted this. It's the user library you're looking for. In the link I sent "~" ie refered to, that's the username path. Just replace username with your own name.

Thanks Rachel, thanks for that. I had checked the username folder first as per instructions fr om FF, but no 'library' folder exists there (only a Calibre Library folder), much less a FF one. Are you using Catalina? Maybe that's the problem. I tried creating a library entry under the Application Support folder in 'Libraries' but still can't access the filters from FF app. If open the library folder and click on one of the thousands of numbers, then the filter opens, but no way of accessing from within FF. I can't find wh ere the existing FF library with the few filters they provide when I bought it but it must be somewhere.

Yes the latest Catalina. It has to be in:

Macintosh HD : Users : username : Library : Application Support : Filter Forge 9

It is possible some folders are hidden. This will fix it.

See hidden files on Mac via Finder
In Finder, open up your Macintosh HD folder.
Press Command+Shift+Dot.
Your hidden files will become visible. Repeat step 2 to hide them again!

Who would have thought that Catalina hides the library folder in users by default? So now have finally found the right place to paste the filters. Many thanks Rachel, much appreciated.
