Hi, I am curious as to the image file outputs (diffuse, bump, norm) saved from filter forge can be included in 3d models for sale. I do a lot of horror works and want to amplify the shock factor of my works. A few filters I have altered would be great for some upcoming sets I am working on. So am curious if I can add the output images for the texturing.

The quick answer is yes. Look at their Features page.
The more detailed answer: if the filter uses the lighting model, then you can export the map you need (diffuse, bump, normal and more). Look at the Result component in your filter. It allows you to turn on PBR lighting. How to tell if the filter uses lighting? Look at a filter page. Further down the page it will list the maps available. Here's an example with lighting: Stone Temple by Carl. You can also add maps to images that don't have them by using various channels (brightness, color etc) to create maps: Surface Texture Engine 2. More details on Rendering. Math meets art meets psychedelia. |
