On the filters library page
Filters Library You can easily know how filters are shown on these two tabs RECENT : They are organized correctly by submission date POPULAR: These are organized by their popularity and number of download on the current date so it changes according to the evolution of the popularity on each day But then all the others options is not clear and known HOW are filters organized in the library to be shown first ? FEATURED ---------------------------------------------- Does it appear them at random each time you refresh the main page ? Because each time you refresh the page they are organized totally different each time BUT curiously this is not true if you go to see ALL the featured filters list, they are NOT organized at random and it will show always the same ones on the first page Featured 8 pages of filters - what filters are shown on first page? ALL FILTERS BY CATEGORY ---------------------------------------------- If you go to the categories list it seems that they are organized in some fixed kind of way, but I do not know what is used to organize them and which filtewrs are shown on the first places and first page For example MISC category - what filters are shown on first page? AUTHOR PAGES ---------------------------------------------- If you go to an author page to see all the filters created and available, is also not known what filters are shown first and why Ramlyn 9 pages of filters - what filters are shown on first page? "CUSTOM SEARCH" ---------------------------------------------- If you make a custom search for a any keywords used, what filters are appearing first in the search list? Is it organized by relevance and matching first the filters that contain the keywords we have put on the search? Custom search example for filters that have lines Thanks very much for your help |

I have seen that it the featured filters page has been updated, and the latest editor pick appears first, so I have seen the date of the first 10 featured filters and it seems that they are with the latest date, so I wonder if these featured filters are ordered by the date when it was given the editor pick and choosen as featured? Thanks |

I believe EPs and all filters in a category are also sorted by popularity.
Custom search is totally screwed. Making it usable is high on our to-do list. |

Thanks for your answer GMM, so iif filter catgories are sorted by popularity, then are also the author pages sorted in the same way, by popularity?
Please GMM could you please, confirm that they are sorted all by populariity except the ones that are by date ? I think that sorted by popularity means how many times this filter has been downloaded and not how much it is used. This would explain why it is changing and why they are new filters mixed with very old filters at start Thanks very much |
