Moving your alterations to a filter to a new version

Hi pinklemonade, it depends what exactly you're talking about.

Do you mean presets?
Presets save filter settings/lighting. The thumbnails are displayed on the bottom left.

You need to copy over the "My Presets" folder from the FF4 directory to the FF7 directory. For example, in Windows 10:

Copy this folder C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Filter Forge 4\My Presets
Paste here C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Filter Forge 7
(USERNAME = whatever your username is)


Or maybe you opened the filter editor and saved custom versions of filters?
Your edited filters will show up in the "Custom Filters" category displayed in the top left column and (by default) are located in the "My Filters" folder. In Windows 10:

Copy this folder C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Filter Forge 4\My Filters
