The image is not the correct color when i open ff as a plugin from photoshop. The colors are similar but shifted. Why would that be?

Without more details I can think of a lot of reasons..Such as when FF opens, the filter that is selected does that.....Check to see what filter is selected when you open FF.....You could also check the box at the top of the main window that says "Show Original" to see if it is FF......
Could also be that the image in question is not in the rgb color space..... ![]() Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

Hi CF & M,
Thanks for responding. The image is in the RGB color space. When I come into FF I seem to have a texture applied. I am new to FF. I don't know how to deselect this so that I don't have anything applied. In any case, when I tick show original, the original is displayed with a color shift. I have attached a file that contains screenshots of both versions. Not sure if image will display images can be seen here: https://stevengreenbaum.photography/filter-forge |

A wild guess, unlikely to help but there is no harm in trying:
Open Filter Forge, select Tools > Options > Gamma and switch the gamma correction selector. |

Disabling gamma correction made no difference.
Is there a way to eliminate all filters/textures when starting a new image? |
