Am I Crazy ... 4600 dead filters ..

I have always tried not to be the grumpy old guy here. I don't complain about software I find useful, but am I alone in thinking that version 4 destroys Filter Forge?

I have not been commenting here in the forum for quite some time now and have not uploaded any new filters either. Been doing other stuff. I was quite excited when it was finally announced that v4 was going to have a real file manager. That was always the thing I found most frustrating about using FF. It was easy to lose my favorite filters and my in-process work. I think I was using the software less because of that.

I installed v4 and was shocked that the program had been destroyed. We had been warned but I must not have read the fine print well enough. Most of my filters are trashed because import image is gone. I use FF to process images. Does this not mean that 75% or more of the filters in the on-line library won't work anymore? Watercolor is trashed. Comic book filters will not work. 4600 filters gone. To me this is a disaster. I have been surprised no one else has commented on this. The worse part is that the install destroyed v3 as well. I am mourning for the loss of my favorite PhotoShop filter.

??? Open image works just as normally. Images are loading just fine, nothing's changed. sounds like you just confused yourself...
