Hello, sorry to bother you with this, this is in reference to this thread
BEFORE Posting an error downloading FF filters PLEASE see this thread This title is only good if this thread was sticky, as is really pointless when is lost inside the forum, and also is not good to say it in this way. So please, can you help and be so kind to change the title to this other one? Error downloading FF filters - Guide for helping and possibly solve it Please, also delete this thread after making the change Thanks very much Best regards |

lol ... well that thread IS unofficial after all....
Might as well have FF have a proper FAQ that officially addresses stuff. |

SORRY, I FORGOT, PLEASE, ALSO CHANGE THIS OTHER THREAD
BEFORE Posting an error downloading filters PLEASE see this thread MAC to this new title Error downloading FF filters - Guide to help and possibly fix it MacOS If you think you can have a better title, you are free to modify it as you may think better
I am not asking to make this thread sticky in any way, because as you say this is an unofficial information, and only FF can do it in the right and official way It would be good to put this information in the FF Wiki but I can´t do it yet, as I have to learn how to do it. |

No no, that's not what I mean at all.
I'm saying "frequently asked questions" should collectively be answered by the people who actually do support for this program rather than having "the 3rd party" throw in suggestions as if they were answers. I guess for some things that have a straight forward answer people should just answer it anyway. But for somethings requiring direct responses, it'd benefit more from an official response. Basically put: it's probably best to keep the discussion straight forward by letting the people need to talk, do the talking. |

Skybase, people just don't read. For example, we have a special 3.0 version with Windows 8 support that requires a different license key... guess how many requests we get from people trying to insert their old key into an incompatible version? They just fail to read that page up to the second sentence.
That is to say, I can compile a list of frequently asked questions — but is it worth the effort as people don't read? Especially with the filter download issue when you just need to wait 10 minutes for the library server to go up. |

Gotcha. I really don't have much word. I'm just being observant.
