Hello everyone,

I'm using Filter Forge on Mac and batch works perfectly when i have ten or twenty textures to render.
But, is it possible to render normal map with the batch render?

Thanks for your help !

Yes, you need to save the normal map as a preset and then use the command-line rendered on this filter.

A follow up to this question: How do you control whether you're generating an OpenGL or a DirectX normal map when you're rendering via batch xml?

Sorry that I do not understand you question because I do not have the knowledge about this topic, but maybe this external batch tool could be useful for you for rendering Filter Forge maps via batch

FF Batch Tool

It is controlled by the NormalMapFlipY parameter. Please review the corresponding help section.

Thanks GMM, I hadn't seen that info before.

Is there a list someplace which shows the Type # of each map type? i.e. Type 0 is texture, Type 4 is Normal.

Is it possible to generate maps other than normal via xml? (I know I could generate a preset for each type and then scan through the ffxml to find it, but if you have a link...)

Sorry primitivedesign, there is no prepared list of map types. Indeed you should save all map types as different presets and render the required preset via the xml batch.
