Hey: I just had a crazy idea:
![]() FF inc should make a miniature iPhone version of Filter Forge, so that people could use some of the image filters on the camera. Sort of like Plastic Bullet or Hipstamatic It would be simplified, only allowing the use of filters and no editing, of course. Maybe it would only allow use of presets, or tweaking of settings in the 'create preset mode', not in the image itself (for simplicity and performance). Think of it like the FF freepacks, but even smaller and on the iPhone. FF inc might even exert some editorial control over what filters are made available for the iPhone version (since the iphone camera roll won't have all of the inputs available). Image filter apps are popular on the iPhone, but none of them I've seen have anything even close to the breadth of the FF filters. There are a bunch of filters which would would be great on the iPhone, and which could almost be apps in themselves: Aether http://www.filterforge.com/filters/9008.html http://www.filterforge.com/filters/7651.html Technical Drawing http://www.filterforge.com/filters/1979.html Grunge http://www.filterforge.com/filters/5074.html LOMO, Shark Tank!, Sketchy Painting, Watercolor Painting, and many others. /end crazy idea mode/ |

iPhones are not x86-compatible. I think it's more plausible to wait until Parallels port their virtual machine to iPhone ![]() </official mode off> |
