I just to ask if there could be any possible estimated date approximately for the release of FF 4.0 Beta 2.
I do not want at all the date, just to know the month or a rough date, for example if it will be release before the end of the year, or will be sometime in January, or whatever. I will not ask what will be included as I think this will be a surprise. |

I think that it will take some more time to be available the Beta 2 as I think the FF developers will have a lot of work to include the whole new filter organization AND possibly also have to solve all the possible bugs and tests about it AND also think that also must fix the bugs from the Groups feature, so I bet that this will not be until next year (wish I was wrong  ) because of this |

It's up to Vladimir to decide, but I think we're going to fix the Groups bugs first and then switch to the features outlined for Beta 2.

Thanks GMM, I know that Vladimir is the one who decides, and I thought that perhaps he could have a rough idea of when would it be possible, if for December, January, or perhaps February if it would need much work to make the needed for Beta 2.
Do you mean that is going to be released a new Beta 1 version bugfixed, perhaps Beta 1.1 or that until all the Groups bugs are fixed will not continue working on the other features for the Beta 2? Sorry to make questions about this and I think that I should better keep quiet and wait patiently and do not bother you with this things. |

It's hard to estimate because we're still dealing with the servers, but I think we can safely rule out December.

Thanks for answering Vladimir, and you are right, as it have happened the unexpected problem with the servers, you are busy also with this problem and so I agree that as december is very near, it will not happen before end of year.

The last news is from 23 November, and now we are on 27 of January, more than 2 month later, and would like to know if it would be possible to know if it would be released possibly sometime in February or March, thanks.
Of course that I know that all depends on the problems and obstacles that you may find in the way, but to have rough idea. |

NOT at all I am not desperate or anxious waiting for FF 4.0 Beta 2 in any way, and do not care when will it appear, I have now put this because I have just been curious to know. After much waiting for FF 4.0 Beta 1, and having been much dissapointed, I am not now expecting or waiting for beta 2 unless there is some good and interesting reasons and news about it, and the possible thing coming with it seems that it is still a secret, and will not get anxious wanting to know more about as it happened, not again.
Very good news and hope that the life allow you to make it true and it will look good in february for FF 4.0 beta 2, although if it is not possible, nothing bad happens, just wait some more. I wish you and the FF team the best. |

Well, for me it does not matter at all that it has not been possible to release it in February, obviously there is no signed contract that it should and must be today, and it was just only a POSSIBLE release date and never means that it must be done in that date.
I understand of course that is really much better to spend some days more and test it very well and be sure that it works right and that most of the known bugs are solved and there will be only unknown bugs. Wish the best and good for your hard work of the FF team, and take the time you may need. |

Sorry I do not think so As I have already said above, I am not desperate in any way, what I am is very curious but not impatient, and I can wait the time they need to make it right, and I wanted to say that as I started this thread, I wanted to let know that nothing bad happens if it takes more time to arrive.
I would love to really enjoy and would like to be able to make filters in the way that you or any other of the great FF experts from here, but regretably at this moment and time with my beginners skills is frustrating and not much enjoyable. |
