Will we see the missing control types (value, color, select box) in a future release? I'm missing them a lot already smile:)

Value = Grayscale Map with HDR turned on.

Color = Color Map.

If the select box you mentioned means a dropdown list / a.k.a. combobox, then sorry, it won't be available in v2.0.

Ahh.. doh smile;)

And yes, thats what I meant by select box: you set up a number of items and use some sort of get_dropdown_index_input

Sorry, I have to bring this up again..

Using mapped inputs for parameters meant to be constant is not very user friendly:
You might need these values for some heavy precalculations in prepare() - while you can in fact draw a sample in prepare, having an input as mapped type when it is not really mapped is misleading.

The one I miss the most here is a native Value slider..
