Today's scripting achievement: Automatic Image Collage!
Takes 1-16 external images via color controls and arranges them (pretty much) randomly but pleasingly into a collage. Every variation gives a different collage (although the first image always ends up at the top left corner). Images resize and center to fill the larger dimension of their respective frame and scale down appropriately when border width is increased. Fastest way I know to make 30000 variations of an image collage! ![]() |

Since I'm not developing this further, I released it to the library in case someone is interested in it and wants to develop a version that works with non-square images and output.
You can partially get around the non-square input image issue by selecting "fill" from the placement options. Similarly, you have some control with cropping the image inside the collage with aligning the image top, bottom, left, right or center depending on original dimensions.
