Okay, so I asked a question quite a while ago and got no response so that means one of three things.

Either: No one saw it and it got buried to quickly
Or: The question didn't make sense
Or: No one likes me smile:( ... smile:D

Anyway the original query was could anyone make a script component that could make a free transform quadrilateral by accepting 8 inputs. The x and y values of the corresponding 4 vertex of the quadrilateral.

Since no-one responded I have been thinking of how I might get some help without
A)Whinning
B)Spamming
or C) Whinning and Spamming

So what I thought I would do was try bribing. If someone helps me with making a script that allows the user to create a quadrilateral by placing 4 points via inputs I will submit a tire filter I have been working on.

Here is a sample of what it looks like right now, I would obviously make it more detailed but it gives a general idea of what it would look like.

Thanks all smile:)

Very slick. How does the license work though?

arts of this code were translated from Graphics32 Transforms (GR32_Transforms.pas) to Lua (via Filter Forge)

I made some unsubstantial changes and simplifications here and there, and added Filter Forge framework specific code (function get_sample and prepare)
Function get_sample contains simplified code from procedure TProjectiveTransformation.ReverseTransformFloat (original code).
Function prepare contains code from procedure TProjectiveTransformation.PrepareTransform (original code).
_DET overloaded procedures in original code were renamed to det_ii (for 2x2) and det_iii (for 3x3)

Original code can be found at www.graphics32.org

Can I use it to make filters that will be used for commercial projects?

yes, no problem. If you make changes to the script, you must publish them, thats the essence of it.
