FF3 freezing and locking up

Ive encounters numerous times when I open ff3 that it is taking forever to load,, and then if it does.. when I try to select a filter and load form FF filters page it freezez and locks up.

also this has happened when Im simply changing one of the pre set filters in FF3.

please, could you give more information ?

Standalone of photophop plugin version ?

Windows or Mac ? Which OS version ?

FF 3.0 version 4?

How many filters have you inside your FF library ?

If you restart computer and then with fresh system, without nothing loaded after, it happens the same that it freezes ?

Have you tried to reinstall over the same version ? Or backup your filters downloaded, and then uninstall completely and install again ?
