Install failed to set permissions. This also occurred when I installed the FF2 trial.

Please follow these steps:

- click the small lock icon at the bottom of this pane and enter an admin password to unlock the permissions box;
- if your user name is there in the user list, set the permissions to 'Read and write'. If your user name isn't there, click the '+' button and add the user to the list, then set the permissions to 'Read and write'.
- after you finish setting the permissions, don't forget to click the lock icon again to 'lock' the choice.

Yeah I know how to fix it. I thought you guys wanted bug reports. Seems like this is a pretty limiting bug?

As a first time user this would be a bad experience no?

I found that running the installer package on both 3 and Beta 4 will correct the permissions if you can't get the info box to refresh to set the permissions yourself.

It occurs for me under 10.8.2
