Filter Forge.exe no longer determine the lack of SSE2 support on my old Athlon XP. Earlier (in the first betas) the correct version was launched (i.e. "Filter Forge x86.exe"). Now it crashes immediately. I think its due to the launch of "Filter Forge x86-SSE2.exe", but it could as well be SSE2 code in "Filter Forge.exe".

I can tell SSE2 related code causes the crash because further debugging shows assembler that involves xmm registers..

Temporary Fix: Rename "Filter Forge x86.exe" to "Filter Forge.exe" - then filter launch from library works

Seems you fixed this in the new hotfix release - it starts up just fine now.

And this bug made it back into the final FF3 release smile:evil: turning on my debugger shows movsd xmm0 calls etc - my CPU does NOT support SSE2.
