I'm sure this topic has been addressed already, but I couldn't find it in an initial scan. I downloaded the beta 3.0 and cannot open any images over 3000 pixels. I am a basic user. Does that mean the beta being texted by me is also 3.0 basic and not professional?

fuxinuwa, most probably you already have a license for Filter Forge Basic and you requested a key for 3.0 beta. The trial version of the beta is a fully-functional Professional Edition (as always with our trials).

I don't quite understand? I have a basic license and have downloaded the beta version. However it is the 3.002 Basic version.....should the Beta be the Professional version? Of did it default to the Basic version due to the license on my machine?

No big deal, just didn't quite understand your answer above.

An unregistered (=trial) version of Filter Forge is the Professional edition. A registered version can be Basic, Standard or Professional. The same applies to betas: you can use the trial version of Filter Forge 3.0 for 30 days, enjoying the benefits of the Pro edition.

Does this answer your question?
