Hi folks, 1st of all congratulations to FF team for the new version and improvements.
Let's try it out and see how it works. ;0)

When installing, it asked me if I would like to import previous filters, and I selected yes, now, I wonder how can I find only 3.0 filters among all filters? Is that possible like doing some special search or criteria or a menu like window/show/only 3.0 filters.

Thanks in advance.

well, all 3.0 filters will be in your 'my filters' folder, since none are allowed in the library yet and therefore wont be in the other library folders. so, other than that, with no user-made folders yet, you'll just have to keep track yourself smile:(
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

You can´t find any FF 3.0 filters on the FF 3.0 list of the Filter Forge program itself because there are none yet, and also can´t download any from the internet filter library because there are none yet.

As said by Kraelin FF 3.0 will appear in the "My filters" folder as I have tested it after downloading the FF 3.0 Article Bomber that Vladimir have shared here in the forum.

I have put a thread to ask if it would be possible to have FF 3.0 filters in a dedicated thread, you can see it here --> http://www.filterforge.com/forum/read...7&TID=8391

@Craig:

Hi Craig, thanks for your reply. I was going to ask what was the name of the filters with 3.0 versions, but as SpaceRay informed there is none yet. I got to notice that after uninstalling and installing without importing the filters. :0) I thought it would install just with 3.0 filters.

@SpaceRay

Thanks for the Info SpaceRay. I'll keep the eyes in that thread and will search for this FF3.0 Article Bomber.

All the best to you all and have a nice week.

I also thought that after installing FF 3.0 there would be any new 3.0 filter inside the program but after searching and looking my library imported fr om 2.0, I have seen that are all the same as in 2.0, so no 3.0 filter included in the beta 3.0, I think this perhaps would be in the final version.

The thread wh ere Vladimir have put the link to the excellent Article Bomber filter which only works in 3.0 is here in the fourth post--> http://www.filterforge.com/forum/read...7&TID=8372

By the way I could NOT download the filter using IE 9, I needed to use Google Chrome, I did not test with Opera or Firefox.

To add the Article Bomber filter to your filter forge software, use "Locate Filter" and point it to the place you have downloaded it,it will appear in "my filters"

To use the Article Bomber filter you need to click on settings and change the preview images for your own choosen images, and then choose the size with the slider below or change variant.

To get the size of canvas you want with article bomber you need to make a NEW project file with the size you want before using Article Bomber (is the same as with others filters)

What I found is that if you put a 12.000 x 12.000 canvas the photo are resized to this high resolution and are seen much better (if your coosen photos have enough resolution). And it would be a good idea to use objects with transparency, so you would not have the border of each photo, as shown on the example that Vladimir have put.
