Is there a way to import my filters from FF 1.02 into the new beta? I tried copying them from FF1 into the library of FF2 but it doesn't work...at least not for me...thanks for any help

Gina, as far as I know, FF2 imports the filter storage from FF1 during installation. I'll ask the programmers to clarify.

Just checked it -- the import functionality seems to be working fine.

Did you have an older beta version of FF2 installed? The import option in the installer is activated only when you don't have FF of the same major version currently installed.

I downloaded the Beta that is currently out there...I could try uninstalling and reinstalling it, I suppose.

The Mac OS X installer doesn't , maybe the windows one does.

Well, I'm at a loss...when I first installed FF2 beta (the previous version of beta) it imported my filters...when that became obsolete and would no longer run, I downloaded and installed the newer beta (twice now) and it will not import my FF1 filters...Gina
