It would be nice if we could remap the range they operate in, for example, zero could be one and five could be ten, but they extend to infinity in both directions.

Do you connect a Value control to a slider input? If yes, it's no surprise it stops at 100.

Have you tried turning remapping on? Here is the screenshot of remapping 0 to 101:

Can you explain why?

Because a slider is a limited control by design. For example, take the Bricks component: how can you set its H range beyond 100?

To be able to control values infinitely, you need to connect Value controls to Value inputs, as shown on my screenshot above, or to HDR Color inputs (that are marked by orange arcs).

Notice how the gamma values in this image can cross below zero and can extend to infinity in both directions. Is it possible to make a ff control behave that way?

Hi GMM. I'm getting closer. The thing that threw me was when I check the wiki for gamma I got this when I wanted to get this. I saw that first one and thought I was screwed – I had no idea how to do that one.
Now when the user sets the gamma to 2.2 it will mean the gamma is 2.2.
I'm beginning to think there isn't anything that ffv2 can't do.
