With all the new math components, the rounding in Slider and Value controls are really starting to get annoying. Please (and I'm down on my knees here) stop the rounding, at least in the Value control.

What rounding are you talking about? Please provide some examples.

Sorry Vlad,

The value display in the new Value control is perfect - I looked at a normal Slider (and remapping) by mistake. My bad. Would be great if the normal Slider showed more decimals and didn't round too.

Slider actually rounds numbers only for GUI display.
For example, you input 0.123456 and you see 0.12 in value control, but inside FF the number is 0.123456. You can check it by viewing a filter file as a text document.

I know that. The problem arise when you go back and want to adjust some decimal. Then the original constant is lost and you're left with the rounded number.

Take 0.995 for instance. This is rounded to 1.00, and remains so even if you click the edit field again.

Temporary truncation is a better choice, and this only for display (i.e. original value is left untouched). Alternately you could restore the original value on edit.
