This program is literally aching for the addition of fractals, IMHO..... Would manual formula input be pushing it???

A stage 3? Sweet!
I'm going to wish for an L-System component. It would be similar to the Bomber, in that it would take a bunch of different maps as 'particles' but instead of a grid guiding the bombing, symbols in the L-system rule would correspond to the different particles to use for a stroke. Inputs: - stroke maps * 5 - L-system axiom - L-system rules * 5 - stroke length/width/opacity/chaos - turn angle/chaos Armed with something like that you could synthesise some really nice ferns, bushes, trees, and all sorts of trippy patterns. That's not my guess for Stage 3, that's just a wish ![]() If you're interested in L-Systems, I highly recommend the book 'The Algorithmic Beauty of Plants". http://www.amazon.com/Algorithmic-Bea...0387972978 |

Surprisingly, the last update had some "unnanounced" hints on what may be coming next. If you haven't seen it, you should check it out. I had tears streaming down my eyes because every problem I had in FilterForge were gone. |

Are you talking about those little icons? I really hope those get implemented. Er... most of them...(derivatives!?) |
