So I've been forced to update to the latest beta, probably like everyone else. The references to my library are all gone- so how do I fix this?
I dont appreciate being forced into beta testing, its actually making me want to not upgrade on principal. I recommend the FF crew should start thinking about how they are going to split the filter libraries so version 1 users can still use their licenses. Being forced to use beta versions, and ultimately upgrade, is a bit rude IMO. Beta testing used to be for beta teams. More and more I'm seeing software developers dumping betas on their public userbase. Its not cool.i End users need tools to keep working, not have to stop and fugure out why suddenly their tools are disabled. Wheres my library gone? /2c Thanks AC |

Hello Targos...
Do you have version 1 and 2 on the same computer? http://www.filterforge.com/forum/read...5&TID=7096 Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

Hey there,
I've followed similar instructions to fix this before, but really I just want to use FF1 until the beta is fixed up and ready for public release. Then I may upgrade if I have the bling bling. I cant access my filter libraries with either FF2beta 2.003 or FF1. I just dont want to touch the beta until its finished testing. I've been a beta tester for 3 or 4 apps already and I can't stand it. I can only really justify using stable release versions-as they usually have less bugs. Cheers AaronC |

OK so I deleted FFBeta2, went to library>AppSupport> and made sure my filters were all in FF1 System Filters folder, then emptied trash.
then I ran FF1 and try to dl some of the new filters and I get the image attached. Am I missing something? Oh yes I also reconfigured firefox as described in one of your posts too. Cheers AC ![]() |

Targos/AC:
Take a look at my post here: http://www.filterforge.com/forum/read.php?TID=7079 Scroll down to my post on Feb. 26. Is this the same problem you're having? If so, then I guess it's a bug? |
