Hi I bought filter forge today and just read that I get the version 2 (beta?) for free, so how is that working? I'm using the Beta version now I think.

You can contact us via the contact form to get a beta key that will allow you to use the beta beyond the 30-day trial period.

http://www.filterforge.com/download/beta2/index.html that quote is from that page. the way i read that is that you can try the beta version out for free for 30 days, regardless of if you have version 1 or not, but you cant get a free key to extend that trial. if you have version 1, then you can extend the trial of version 2 by getting a free product key. i dont think that means you get version 2 for free on the official release. i think this only extends to version 2 beta. however, i dont work for filter forge, but that's the way i read that paragraph. you're welcome.
yes, i do work here; they just dont pay me ![]() which version do you have? you shld be able to download all filters with any version except the starter versions and even they can download some. do you get an error message of any kind when you try to download and are you using the web browser style download or from within the program? If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

hi anna,
i dont know the specific problem. could just be the site is lagging. that happens. try again later is all i can say on that one. you might also try the 'obsolete' method found in the options. that's the method i use and i rarely have any problems. oh, and i actually have done a little work for FF. hopefully, that will show up here one of these days ![]() If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
