"A way to create new folders that I want in FF, this would be useful because then I could make different folders for different projects I am working on". ![]() To bit or not to bit |

This would be the number 1 biggest improvement that could be made to the usability of Filter Forge. I would rather have this one simple, obvious improvement than all the new features listed so far.
Even if there were no subfolders just a single level in the existing row would be a vast improvement. In fact, it kind of looks like it was designed to have space for more folders to be added and I was surprised there was no way to do this. ![]() |

Yes, this is a very popular request, but implementing it would require a complete rewrite of the filter storage. We are slowly moving in that direction, but this is not on the plan for v2.0.

OK, but you don't have to actually physically move where or how the filter files are stored to accomplish the desired goal. Just let the user create some sort of organizable folders that contain thumbnails linking to the actual filters. Similar to the way the current favorites folder works, but just let us make different folders. The filter storage system doesn't have to be changed, it would be a separate organizational system that runs independently. It could even be in a separate pop-up window or something. I don't see how that could not be reasonably doable, and it would accomplish the desired effect of being able to organize things into groups. |

yes, all it has to be is 'my favorites allowing user made folders and sub-folders. we dont want to physically move the filters; we just want to make our own sortable, createable, editable links to the filters we've downloaded. nothing more is really needed. just make it a links folder like 'Favorites' but add user control to add and delete more folders. so, all you're doing is moving and sorting the links to the filters, not the filters themselves. nothing in the actual filters folders has to change.
also, it's actually not even necessary that 'my filters' have its own folders, though that would be incredible, too and that also would not disrupt the downloaded filters folders at all. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
