It happens with any filter.
Run FF10 on MacBook Pro. Pick a filter. Let render Hit Draft Mode. Button turns blue. Let render Hit Draft Mode. Button turns grey. Let render Look at results and time to render. Still in Draft Mode. Go to another filter. Still in Draft Mode. I don't know how I can be any clearer. ![]() Math meets art meets psychedelia. |

So now to really test if Layered Stone render time is wrong because it seems very similar to the last result from Crysta
I close FF 10 and restart it again fresh When I restart it is choosen by default again the Layered Stone again Wait until it ends render It takes 50.88 seconds!!! and not 8.50 So it is supossed that this should not be right, as in the post above, the Draft Mode is switched off and the render time is 8.50 so, if now the draft mode is also off, should be the same, but this shown here is the real time that is RIGHT and NOT the time that is shown in the post above So I think that this is what Rachel means, that after activating and then switch off, something wrong happens ![]() |

So now you click again on the Draft Mode button and it turns grey
Wait until it ends render It takes 8.40 seconds So as it happened already with Crysta, is not 50.88 seconds as it was without Draft Mode, although is not Draft mode either as it is 8.40 and not 3.04, so then there is something wrong or weird here after you switch off draft mode How is explained that the time render is so different before and after you use the draft mode button? It should have around the same render time with a difference of 1 or 2 seconds and the render time does not go back to the same render time before using the draft mode button |

All the tests I am doing is with the 600x600 pixels
DRAFT MODE TIME IS HIGHER ? There is more curious things as I when I was trying more on this I have seen something more weird as on all the above, when you activate the draft mode, the render time is reduced much, but when I use Pin Art by ThreeDee the render time with Draft mode is HIGHER!!! Start FF 10 fresh Open Pin Art and preset 1 and wait to finish it takes 3 minutes 51 seconds ![]() |

If now click on another filter the time is lower than it should be
I have done the last 3 posts above 2 times, and I got around the same result. I hope this all helps to find what may be happening and what may be wrong with the Draft mode |

Rachel, thank you for the detailed steps. It's not the entire draft mode that remains in effect but only the reduced resolution (cache, AO, and AA settings are switched back to normal but the resolution is not). Should be fixed in the next program update.
