Could not paste the image due to an error:
Unknown bitmap storage format in memory stream [...] (0 was expected)

Replicate:

1. Use the build in windows snipping tool (hit start and type "sni")
2. Select a screen region (size doesn't matter)
3. Ctrl+C
4. Into FF7 press Ctrl+V

I'm not sure if it is our bug, or if the snipping tool uses an exotic bitmap format. Please note you will get the same "Could not paste the image" balloon if you try to copy-paste a GIF file into FF.

I will ask our tester to check what particular bitmap the snipping tool puts into clipboard.

Okay. I use the build in windows 10 snipping tool on a daily basis with an unknown number of applications. Never encountered any problems with copy/paste (on that basis I wouldn't define it as an 'exotic bitmap format').

Using Alt + Print Screen to capture screen and the pasting into FF produces a similar error.

The devs looked into the issue. TIL there exists such a thing a compressed BMP: it is the format used in the snipping tool and Alt+PrtScr, and Filter Forge is unaware of it. We'll implement support for it soon.
