When using HDRtist filter (from library - unmodified) on a 50mpx image (Canon Dsr), calling FF from within Photoshop filters menu, there is a 2.5+ minute delay after hitting "Apply" in FF before the PROGRESS BAR shows up in Photoshop. (It takes about 5-10 minutes for the layer to render).

I don't know if this is addressable, but with an SSD its hard to tell if FilterForge has died or is working. It would really help if the progress bar showed up right after the FF window closes.

A 50 MP image processed with Paint HDRtist? If it only takes 2.5 minutes to show up and 10 minutes to render, you seem to have a very powerful machine. On an average machine I would expect the see a result after 30 minutes or later.

It was fast when I built it, 4 years ago, so yes, its still fairly quick. But I'm hoping that the progress bar could be moved "up" in the code, so it appears immediately, and one KNOWS that FF is actually working. It's frustrating to Alt-Tab away, come back in 30 minutes, and find that FF locked up and never started, which does happen.
