This bug was produced on a Mac (10.10.4). I believe FF is not reading the Rotation META data from the JPG. Here is the original photo, taken on an iPhone 5. The camera was turned sideways (landscape) when I took the picture:

Here is the image as seen in Preview on the Mac:

A quick aside. Obviously even Firefox does not handle the original image correctly as seen above IF the image is viewed on the web. If I drag the original image onto Firefox on my Mac the image looks just like Preview.

Thanks for the input. Yeah, support for the gyroscope rotated images you can get out of many cameras and phones these days is pretty uneven, more so in Windows, although it makes sense that Photoshop got it right. Graphics & file formats (so many sub-versions of formats, like TIF) are Adobe's biz, but it is hard to keep up. Figures that Apple got it right, they helped create this concept of the "rotated" camera. But even so, sometimes the META data is filtered out if you view an image over the web, so the browser doesn't know any better... Still think FF should support it, but it could be opening a can o' worms.

In the first place, why should Filter Forge read this data? It is not designed to be an image viewer.
If FF doesn't have your favorite function, please post in the Feature Wishlist forum and not here.
