Yeah, support for the gyroscope rotated images you can get out of many cameras and phones these days is pretty uneven, more so in Windows, although it makes sense that Photoshop got it right. Graphics & file formats (so many sub-versions of formats, like TIF) are Adobe's biz, but it is hard to keep up. Figures that Apple got it right, they helped create this concept of the "rotated" camera. But even so,
sometimes the META data is filtered out if you view an image over the web, so the browser doesn't know any better... Still think FF should support it, but it could be opening a can o' worms.
