Strange behaviour when i put an image inside a group that makes it black and white. The next group sees the bw image, but the output image has colors again. Difficult to write in words, see attached filter.

Well depends on what you want your final output to be....If you want it to be just the outline there needs to be an alpha component....

Ok, CFandM/ForgeSmith thanks for your reply, but when the image input component is placed outside the first group the result is without colors. Am i missing something?
The modified filter (attached) works as it should (input image outside the group). Also in the first version there is adifference between the preset image and the result image. BW Color external image.ffxml |

Ahhh I see what you are saying now....I made a test filter to check this out....Check the results while grouping just the image component and I think this is what you are talking about....Looks like it might be a bug or something....

Yes, exactly. I hope it's a bug, I need to find 5 for that free update ... Or make an awesome filter. Too bad that so many people already made such good filters.

In Filter Editor, go to Filter > Overrides and select "Result overrides original" to fix this
![]() Yes, this is a bug in how overrides work with groups (nothing specific to colors). A bug point for aba. |
