How can we reorder the controls that groups publish?
Also, it appears that published controls are sorted once at the time of the creation of a group, but if you decide to rename controls inside the group thereafter, these controls are not re-sorted? ![]() --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

Seems like it's alphabetical. You should probably put 1 2 and 3 in front of the controls.
[EDIT] NOP NEVER MIND. I have no idea how it all works. |

At this moment, the order of group inputs is undefined and undefinable.
I initially wanted to adapt the current Order of Controls dialog for this purpose, but it turned out to be difficult, mostly because of the fact that group inputs can be sortable only within their type group (Map inputs, Numeric inputs, Curve inputs), while the current dialog doesn't have any type bounds in its list. Most likely we'll implement an additional separate dialog to deal with this. |

Yes, this is quite necessary.

This should have been included into the first beta, but we were already too late with it, so we released it without the full set of intended features.

+1 for a separate dialog to deal with this!
Anybody else already having visions of groups replacing snippets and 'officially endorsed' groups being uploaded/downloaded from within the Filter Editor GUI? FF6? ![]() ![]() --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

The dialog would use the same type-separated list of controls as we used in the Script Input Editor (though the general design would resemble Order of Controls).
![]() As for the visions, well, I am ![]() |
