Lots of cool stuff! How are you making those awesome swirls, Skybase?
Also, I'm getting some strange effects by looping the refraction component... Max_Min with Refraction.ffxml |

Ohh sweet stuff!! D:
Indigo, I basically just ran the noise distortion into the loop with some initial image (it can be anything really) ![]() And that's basically it! |

cool and nice examples you have done here
Thanks very much CFandM for sharing this Circle Fractal filter, I like it and have many possible results and is also good for knowing and learn how you have used the loop component with the slaves components AND your filter is very easy to modify and get different results just by changing the source shape at the top!! For example changing it to a star I have got this ![]() |

This Circle Fractal filter by CFandM made me remember about the Bomber Fractal by ThreeDee and using his own collection of shaded shapes can be added to this filter and get complex results

If anyone want to have this shaded shapes version of the Circle Fractal by CFandM I upload it here
I have given credit to CFandM and ThreeDee inside the filter Circle Fractal Shading shapes.ffxml |

Hello everyone !
![]() I was very busy to built a couple of websites that is why I was a long time out. If you like 3d animâted screensavers, go and pick up my free stuff : a beautiful Sunset and an underwater scene at : http://3dscreensaver.t15.org and you go to the free download page. Here my first try with loop component. A sun... GF Sun 2.ffxml visit https://gisoft.ca |

WOW!! Ghislaine, you have done some great work here, the playing with circles and images example is something I have been thinking that probably could be possible to make but did not really know how to make it, and now you have done it and been kind to share it here in the forum.
Well done and will see how it works. |

Thanks SR !
These 2 filters are not completed, you have just to add controls or what you want. As said, I was playing...I'll try something else today and will share it, even if it is not finished. So you will be free to continue the next filters. ![]() visit https://gisoft.ca |

Hello! Glad to see you!
![]() I recommend adding some more detail work! I think it can use some highlights, shading, and a further hint of embossing, maybe some subtle texture work! Glass effect works very well, very simple to implement in FilterForge, plus you can make it work with any shape. Would make this button designer extremely powerful! I remember the days when MacOSX featured jelly bean buttons... man they were so cute! ![]() [Edit] Also might be interesting having a parameter to change materials. Like metal and otherwise. |

YES! I am also glad to see Ghislaine back, the queen of the spirography and good and useful creative ideas.
Now that the Iterator that was requested (when she was making all those awesome spirograph filters she made) is available, what wonderful things could she think of? New spirograph generation? any other cool and great ideas?
Welcome back, even if you are busy, is good to see you here at least some time. Congratulations and wish you and your babies the best. |

Very abstract!
Edit: Ok so I just spoke the obvious. Rainbow's quite vivid! I suggest taking some color schemes from Colourlovers or Adobe Kulr to make those stand. If your output from whatever operation you're doing is grayscale, you can round the values by setting the granularity between 0.25 and 0.15. Then use the elevation gradient and plug in a 5 color gradient. |
