At present, you can't construct a proper Bomber replacement using Loop, because the Bomber generates an infinite field filled with particles, while a Loop can only generate a fixed amount of them.

But if we add slave components to repeating pattern components, e.g. Ellipse, Checker, Tiles etc., this will become feasible.

Sorry I do not understand this right, when you mean we I suposse that you are refering to the filter forge team or is it we the filter forgers ?

and "if we add slave components" means that the Loop component could be upgraded later with these slave components option or this is already available now and you can use right now "slave" components for the Loop? Sorry that I do not know how this slave components are and how do they could work with the loop component.

I updated what I was making. I added a random color picker that picks from user-assigned colors and also made it so that the output has depth. Not a super fancy filter but it makes pretty interesting results.

Without using a "smudge" component (hint: slices)

There's a "quality" slider. This image is only 50/1,000

As I predicted, it's "slow as heck"

Cool and nice examples you have done with the loops, I am glad that many of you may know and understand it very well, and you have shown very good loops examples and can use the new loops in many ways, and it can be very easy for you and have many ideas of where and how to do it, but regretably. I do not know really how to use it beyond very simple things.

Thanks to the filter examples uploaded by Vladimir in the beta page and CFandM here I have been trying to understand more how it works and trying to use it more, but regretably can´t do much smile:blush:

Although I have seen that this really has a great potential and can be used possibly in many interesting and cool ways, and may open many new possible ways to do things.

Here is something I have done that I like modifying the Multiple Randomizer filter uploaded in the FF 4.0 beta 2 page by Vladimir.

And if you want to try it yourself this new version I have done here it is available with 12 different presets showing some of the possible things that this filter can do, AND without using bomber smile:D smile8)

I think that this could be made even better and have more options and have more possible effects, but for now this is what I have got.

Sierpinski Triangle. A portion of it was based on Uberzev's past example although this version uses the loop component and is a bit more efficient. (though render speeds are a bit slow heh.)

Sweet looking book Sharandra...What was that word again.. smile;) smile:)
Speaking of Art Noveau patterns....Two lines and some distortion in a loop branch gives some very interesting results.....Use that distortion slightly thou use too much and things get very weird.....
This image came from that experiment which I think will be the second filter I submit... smile;)
