Hey Guys, FF3 Rocks! But it crashed pretty hard on me, and I couldn't file a proper bug report, some sort of memory leak or something, was using 98% of my CPU, even after a reboot.

I'm sad about it, I was making a filter and it was looking really good, I've been trying to recreate it in FF2, but I just can't seem to find it again. Is there any way to transfer it over to FF2? Copy&Paste didn't work across the versions, and I didn't have any luck copying the ffxml file and changing major_version to 2,

oh well, I'll try to reinstall the beta and see if I can save it.

What I used to do is..Depending on what system you are on is grab a screen capture app and take snapshots of the filters tree and the settings....Then use those to re-create it in FF2...In OSX you can use snapzpro..Then in windows you can use MWsnap..
Then of course it depends on the size of the filter tree..It can be time consuming to re-create but at least you won't have to wonder and rack the brain what went where...

One thing that can do that (been there done that) is when you have a bomber with alot of items, density 5t and high roughness..
When I did my animal fur filter I had to log in and kill FF many times from another machine as it locked up everything, but thats not FF specific, just try Vue (12 GB of RAM is nothing I've just learned) smile;-)

In FF3, we have also updated the Bomber, Checker, Color, Image, Selection, and Switch components. If you change all references to these components to those of 2.009 components, you should succeed.
