Editor Preview Window - Scrolling only zooms in bug

When the Editor Preview Window has the focus and you use the mouse wheel in a forwards direction you can zoom in, however, using the mouse wheel in the other direction does not zoom out. It appears that the zoom out function does not work using the wheel. It does work using the right mouse click menu but that is a very slow and tedious way of zooming out.
