Cronkers Cronkers Posts: 6	After initially installing FF3 and running filter updates, I received the message "Initial Data Download Failed ..." (see attached screen shot) and the update failed. A later try succeeded. Rob Petershack

Kraellin Kraellin Posts: 12749 Filters: 99	i believe that just means that your machine failed to connect all the way or properly to the download/library server. it's like when you get a 404 error in your browser... i think. often, you can just hit the same site or link or the library link again and it'll be fine. in other words, it's just a little glitch that happens sometimes when browsers connect to sites. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up! Craig
