Hello, I purchased 1.0 basic after using up my 1.0 trial a while back. I noticed that upon downloading 2.0 beta, it instantly says my trial is up! I have requested a beta key for basic, but is it wrong for me to lose my 30 day full beta because I previously used the older trial? I'm not sure if it was intended, but it seems to reuse the same protection method and registry date (or whatever it does) of the 1.0 trial, thus reading it as that i have had the beta for much longer than i have. I'm looking forward to a response, and It's more about trying the full functionality of the beta than just being in the beta, as I will more than likely be upgrading my license when FF2.0 comes out.

Are you sure you are using the v2 exe? They look identical. One way you can tell is that on the trial pop-up, it has a big [v2 BETA] stamped on the background.

That is odd, but you know what I'm talking about, right? Hmm, I don't think I can help you any further, hopefully we get an Admin's attention.

I know what you mean, I've double checked the version of the installer (2.001) and the version of the executable, it's most likely that the program uses the same methods to make sure you dont install another trial and get another 30 days, that the v1 did.
