1. Go to the Filter Editor.
2. Click 'Components' button to bring up the Component Bar. 3. RMB-click on any of the displayed components. 4. Note the resulting "Help: ... Component" pop-up(s) under the cursor. 5. RMB-click on 'All' (the category just under the "Components" button). 6. Again, RMB-click on any of the displayed components. 7. Note that this time there is no "Help" pop-up for any of the RMB-clicked components. 8. RMB-click on a different category (i.e. "Adjustments", "Channels", etc.). 9. Note how the component display updates to display components of the selected category. 10. Again, RMB-click on any of the displayed components. 11. Note how the components display immediately reverts back to displaying the 'All' category. You can reset the odd RMB-click behaviour by hitting ESC (thus closing the Component Bar), or by shifting window focus to a different application. You may then go back to step 2 and restart the bug. While the oddity is in effect, the Filter Editor window becomes unresponsive, i.e. navigational controls, selections, menues, etc. do not work. Basically, the whole GUI shuts down, excluding the Component Bar. 12. ![]() 13. ![]() --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

How did you manage to find that? I mean, what sort of workflow do you have that requires four consecutive RMB-clicks?
![]() Thanks for your report, that's a bug point for you. |

No workflow. Just pure coincidence. I opened the Component Bar yesterday looking for stealth-added stuff, and then thought: "I've actually never checked what the context menu on component icons does". So I checked it out, and after that I proceeded to check what the pop-up is on categories, thus activating the bug. Replicating the bug was easy since I knew exactly what I had done. --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |
